The Downs Netball Club started in the 1950s by school teachers from the Ursuline School, Downs Road, Wimbledon from which the name originates.

The Club has produced many international players over the years and can claim to be the top Club in Surrey. We field three senior teams and have a very flourishing Junior Section with over eighty members from 11 years old upwards.

The Downs participate in both adult and junior leagues at a range of levels which enables players of differing standards to play competitive netball. We are the only club in Surrey which offers the opportunity of playing senior club netball at the highest level, with a team in division one of the Premier League, whilst at the other end, our youngest team, the Under 12s, enter the popular Epsom Little League every season.

Training takes place on Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 at Epsom College, Longdown Lane South, Epsom, KT17. Senior training runs every Thursday in September and then fortnightly thereafter as the facilities are shared with our junior section.
